Crystal Awakening, the first book of the Shattered Legacy series, goes on sale in all formats on Tuesday, November 29th! I am so unbelievably excited to finally release this book out into the world, and I can’t wait to hear what you all think of it! I know we still have a few more days to wait, but I have some exciting news to share with you all in the meantime.

First, both Andrew Rowe and I will be participating in a live Q&A session over the Climber’s Court Discord, a server dedicated to Andrew Rowe’s works and his ever-expanding universe. This will be a moderated question and answer session with questions submitted live by chat, and relayed to Andrew and I by the moderators of the server. If you have any questions, or just want to stop in and listen, the event will begin at 6pm PST on Monday and is expected to last a few hours. I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone at Climber’s Court and answering questions about Crystal Awakening or my own self-published works, but please no spoilers!

If you can’t make the live Q&A over Discord, don’t worry! All day on Tuesday the 29th, Andrew Rowe and I will be answering questions on our “Ask Us Anything!” thread on r/Fantasy. Stop in and ask a question or two (the more random, the better!) or check out the answers to other readers’ questions. I hope to share a lot about Crystal Awakening, my other works, my writing process, and maybe even one or two random facts about myself. It’s so exciting to finally talk about Crystal Awakening, I can’t wait to answer all your questions!

One question that I am currently struggling with myself is in regards to Twitter and whether to continue using it as a social media platform or not. I love the simplicity of Twitter, but I’m afraid it no longer has the reach it once had (and for good reason, too). Whether Twitter survives its acquisition or not, I’ve accepted that I’m going to have to change platforms soon. So my question is: Which platform should I move to? Where did everyone else go? Is it Tumblr? Mastadon? Instagram? Skynet? Something entirely new? I’m looking for a new networking site, so if you recently left Twitter, let me know where you landed. Once I settle on a new social media platform, I’ll share my handle on the homepage, so that it’s easy to find.
